About Us
Westminster Presbyterian Church is located at the corner of Reaves Drive and E Whitaker Mill Road in the historic Five Points District of Raleigh, NC. Westminster Presbyterian church had its beginning in 1916 when the late Mr. C.C. Mangum and Mrs. Will Ingram discussed with the late Walter Hunter the possibility of establishing a church school in the northern section of Raleigh, which at that time at no church.
Westminster offers congregants the opportunities to worship, study, and reach out to the community through our Sunday Worship Services, Sunday School, and many mission areas. Our Sunday Morning Worship Services are held at 11:00 A.M. in the sanctuary and large-print bulletins are available from the ushers. During our worship services we offer “A Time for our Children” and then Children’s Church immediately following.
Our Sunday School classes meet at 9:30 A.M. in the educational wing. There are currently three (3) adult classes, which are studying varied curriculums. We have one (2) combined classes of men and women (Westminster Class, New & Improved), one (1) women’s class (Willing Workers).
Westminster is visitor friendly and is ADA compliant. Westminster offers elevator service and numerous wheelchair ramps. All of our restrooms are wheelchair-accessible. We offer reserved seating for our members and visitors with wheelchairs.
